Architect Danna is a resolute young designer at Top-Notch Construction Corp., who is enthusiastic about her craft driven by her principle of combining creativity with practicality to produce beautiful and functional architecture. She has an impressive academic background, a graduate of La Salle University – Ozamiz City. During her time at the university from 2013-2018, she received several awards – Culture and Arts Awardee, Outstanding Lasallian Artist, and Outstanding Visual Artist. She was also a consistent student leader of UAPSA - La Salle University (an affiliated student organization of the United Architects of the Philippines). She started as the organization’s Chapter Auditor (2014) then became the Chapter’s Vice President for Planning and Development (2015) and to having been the Chapter’s President (2016).

This young architect has distinct eligibilities as follows:

          • March 2018 – she completed the COSH training making her a qualified Construction Safety Officer;
          • October 2018 – she passed the Civil Service Exam and attained CSC Professional Eligibility;
          • June 2019 – she passed the Environmental Planner Licensure Exam making her a registered and licensed Environmental Planner;
          • January 2022 – she passed the Architecture Licensure Exam making her a registered and licensed Architect.

Over the course of five years (and counting) after her graduation, she embarked on a successful career that started with the two years of diversified experience for Architects (a requirement for the Architecture Board Exam). First, she began as a public servant having been employed as an underboard-Architect in the Local Government of Tangub City under the office of the City Planning and Development in the Infrastructure Sector from June 2018 to December 2019, in which she worked on numerous projects such as Multi-purpose Buildings, Government Offices, Barangay Halls, Public Schools, Transportation Terminals, and the City’s Recreational Spaces. Second, she had her private practice from January 2020 to December 2020 under the mentorship of Architect Norman Araneta Valera, where she commenced to establish her expertise in Residential and Commercial Projects.

Having accomplished the required diversified practice by January 2021, she attempted to take the Architecture Board Exam but to her disappointment it was postponed multiple times due to the pandemic. So, for the meantime she practiced as a freelancer working on Residential and Commercial renovations and architectural interior fit-outs.

Her career continued to move forward after passing the Architecture Licensure Exam of January 2022. A month after she took her oath as a registered and licensed Architect, she then started her journey in Top-Notch Construction Inc. under Project Control Department as the Finishing Architect for six months, wherein she exhibited a great character as a team-player and showed exemplary work on client relations and on the oversight of qualitative and quantitative aesthetic value of the projects. Then later on the same year, she quickly rose through the ranks and became an invaluable asset as a one of the Senior Architects handling the planning and designing works in which she is involved in up to the time-being.

Outside of her professional work, Architect Danna is an active member of the local chapter of the United Architects of the Philippines in Cavite. The said organization is heavily engaged in the advancement of architecture in the country. She is also associated with the Philippine Institute of Environmental Planners in the NCR Chapter.

Architect Danna, as she further makes a mark on the industry, takes the challenge on creating unique solutions to every new project she will be tasked to. With her undeniable competencies and her commitment to continuously ameliorate the quality of her works she will surely produce sustainable and meaningful projects for the clients and will as well certainly initiate a notable reputation as a talented and dependable architect in Topnotch Construction Inc.
